View protected case study >I care about understanding how people use and trust data and AI, especially where technology shapes access, decisions, and everyday life. My research has explored voice-based AI support for older adults and language and cultural knowledge through computational methods. Community matters just as much to me: I volunteer on AI education, ethics and governance, pathways into tech and research, and design support for nonprofits.
I try to hold curiosity and discipline together: asking better questions, staying honest about uncertainty, and changing course when the evidence challenges an assumption. Learning matters deeply to me, so I seek challenges that stretch my skills and enjoy the process of working through them. Even when systems and data are complex, I want the work to stay grounded in people, rigorous, and useful within real constraints.
