I’m interested in understanding people’s needs and behaviours, and designing technology that meets them in practical, meaningful ways. I focus on human-computer interaction and UX research, especially human–AI interaction, embodied interaction, and human–robot interaction. Recently, I’ve been working on multimodal human–AI interaction, including voice assistants that help older adults navigate online banking. I’ve also done UX research in industry to inform product decisions. Outside of research, I contribute to Canadian AI governance conversations through Gen(Z)AI, co-creating policy ideas and community work.
